Quote of the Week

Commitment is what transforms a promise into reality. It is the words that speak boldly of your intentions. And the actions which speak louder than the words. It is making the time when there is none. Coming through time after time after time, year after year after year. Commitment is the stuff character is made of; the power to change the face of things. It is the daily triumph of integrity over skepticism.

Hey I found this and I watched it like 5 times.... its really inspiring... You guys will like it too!

5 Myths About Women Entrepreneurs

I found an article on a website called www.more.com and found that it was very inspiring to me and hopefully will inspire you women as well. I hope you like it! Let me know your thoughts on the 5 myths.

Entrepreneur Myth #1: You Have to Be Young

Entrepreneur Myth #2: You Need Heaps of Cash

Entrepreneur Myth #3: You Have to Be an Expert

"The third myth about entrepreneurship -- that you have to have your head in the sand about everything except your own area of expertise -- doesn't apply at all to women. Women are responsible for 83 percent of consumer purchasing. We are the ones buying not only for ourselves but also for our children, husbands, and parents. We aren't in tune with the market because we study data; we are the data. We succeed because we notice everything around us, we respond instinctively to what we see, and we develop our expertise accordingly." www.more.com

Entrepreneur Myth #4: Women's Businesses Are Small

"Amy Birnbaum runs Royal Coachman Worldwide, an international limo service. Livia Whisenhunt runs PSEnergy Group, a Georgia-based energy provider that brought in $165 million last year. There are thousands more examples like those. And Debbi Fields's little cookie company is now a $96 million global business. None of the women I've met measures success by size alone. But it is a huge mistake to think that women can run only small, girlie companies." www.more.com

Entrepreneur Myth #5: You Have to Be on One of the Coasts

When I read this article I was inspired in every way. I hope that you can get some inspiration from this as well!
